Very dark Smoky Quartz ornamented with other small crystals and topped with Spessartine Garnets, all royally set on a very pretty Microcline. This magnificent ensemble is a Chinese classic but remains a collector’s item that is both very aesthetic and of very high quality. Quartz is a common mineral of the Silicate group. It is composed of Silicon dioxide and its crystal system is trigonal.

Spessartite (Spessartine) is a variety of garnet composed mainly of Manganese, Aluminium and Silica. Its crystal system is cubic.

Microcline is a member of the large family of Feldspars. It is essentially composed of Potassium, Aluminium and Silicon and its crystal system is Triclinic.
